Copper Moon Coffee Presents the Most Vertical Person in the World

LAFAYETTE, Indiana (October 2020) — Copper Moon Coffee is pleased to present Astronaut Dr. Kathy Sullivan and her Astro Chat on November 5 at 2:30 PM EST, during the Virtual Space Rendezvous of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.

Heralded as the “Most Vertical Person in the World,” Kathy was the first American woman to walk in space and the first woman to visit the deepest spot in the oceans. After spending a total of 532 hours in outer space, her recent ocean dive took her seven miles below the Pacific Ocean’s surface to the Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench.

During the Virtual Astro Chat hosted on Zoom, Dr. Sullivan will discuss exciting moments of her career, which include her three Space Shuttle missions and her voyage to Challenger Deep. There will also be a question and answer segment where participants may ask questions directly to Kathy. All participants will receive a signed copy of her book, Handprints on Hubble: An Astronaut's Story of Invention, a Copper Moon Coffee Stargazer Portion Pack, and a Reach for the Moon Sticker.

We are proud to sponsor this session of the Space Rendezvous on behalf of our partnership with the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.
